122 combat clashes take place at the front on June 19 – General Staff
From the beginning of the day until 10 p.m. on June 19, a total of 122 combat clashes took place at the front; the situation remains the most tense on the Pokrovsky Axis, where 43 clashes took place.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) posted on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The russian invaders carried out three missile- and 38 airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine using 55 anti-aircraft missiles and also used 533 kamikaze drones. At the same time, the enemy carried out more than 2,900 attacks on AFU positions and populated areas from barrel and rocket artillery, mortars, small arms, and weapons of combat vehicles.
At the same time, during the day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 13 areas of concentration of personnel and three enemy control points.
On the Kharkiv Axis, the occupiers, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully attacked six times in the districts of Lyptsi and Vovchansk.
According to preliminary information, since the beginning of the day, the losses of the enemy amounted to 96 occupiers killed and wounded, a tank, three artillery systems, and 11 vehicles were destroyed. 18 personnel shelters, two ammunition storage places, and a storage room with fuel and lubricants were hit.
On the Kupiyansk Axis, the enemy made 11 attempts to dislodge AFU units from their positions in the areas of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Kruhliakivka settlements. Eight enemy attacks were successfully repelled, and three skirmishes continued near Stepova Novoselivka.
On the Lyman Axis, russian invaders tried to advance 15 times in the areas of Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, and Serebrianske Forest; defenders of Ukraine successfully repelled 14 enemy attacks near Terny at 10 p.m. one battle was still going on.
The situation is under control; losses of positions are not allowed.
On the Siversk Axis, the occupiers carried out nine assaults in the areas of Verkhniokamiyanske, Rozdolivka, and the Novyi micro-district of Chasiv Yar, six attacks were repulsed, three clashes were still ongoing.
The aggressor on the Kramatorsk Axis has significantly intensified its efforts.
With the support of aviation, the russian occupiers stormed AFU positions 17 times from the Bakhmut district; battles took place near Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, Ivankivske, Klishchiyivka, and Andriyivka; 12 enemy attacks were repelled, five clashes were still ongoing.
On the Toretsk Axis, the occupiers made six attempts to break through the defensive lines to the east of the North; Ukrainian soldiers repelled four enemy attacks, and two more skirmishes continued.
On the Pokrovske Axis, the number of combats increased to 43.
With the support of all available means of fire damage (aviation, artillery, weaponry of combat vehicles, attack UAVs, FPV drones, and small arms), the invaders continue to attack the battle formations of the defenders of Ukraine near Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Yevhenivka, Sokol, Novoselivka Persha, and Karlivka. The AFU repulsed 31 enemy attacks, and 12 combat engagements at 10 p.m. were still going on.
Previous losses of the aggressor amount to more than 207 occupiers killed and wounded; an armored combat vehicle and a car were destroyed.
There were ten clashes on the Kurakhove Axis; the situation remains tense in the area of Krasnohorivka.
The situation has not undergone significant changes on the Vremivka and Orikhiv Axes.
On the Dnipro Axis, the enemy's assault actions were not successful.
The situation remained unchanged on other Axes.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 18, according to data at 10 p.m., 113 combat clashes took place at the front, and the situation on the Pokrovsky Axis remained the most tense.
