Occupiers become active in 3 axes. General Staff reports situation at front

From the beginning of the previous day until 10:30 p.m. on May 28, 110 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked mostly in the Pokrovsk, Kupyansk and Lyman axes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As of 10:30 p.m. on May 28, about 110 combat clashes took place since the beginning of the day.

"During the day, the enemy carried out three missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine using four missiles and 38 airstrikes using 57 guided aerial bombs, used 435 kamikaze drones. The enemy also carried out 2,849 shelling on the positions of our troops and populated areas using various types of weapons," the message says.

There were 7 combat clashes in the Kharkiv axis.

Units of the Defense Forces repelled 4 assaults of the russian occupiers in the districts of Starytsia and Vovchansk.

The situation is tense, but controlled by Ukrainian troops.

As of the end of the previous day, the battle continued in the Vovchansk area.

Previously, the losses of the enemy since the beginning of the day in this axis amounted to 68 people.

3 artillery systems, 12 vehicles and 3 units of special equipment were destroyed, as well as 2 tanks, 3 artillery systems, 7 vehicles and 1 special equipment were damaged.

19 combat clashes took place in the Kupyansk axis.

The Defense Forces successfully repelled 16 enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Druzheliubivka, Novoiehorivka and Nevske settlements.

As of 10:30 p.m., one more combat clash continued in Petropavlivka and Nevske areas.

16 combat clashes took place in the Lyman axis.

Attempts by the russian occupiers to advance in the areas of Terny, Torske and Serebriansk forest were unsuccessful.

Despite the activity of the enemy, measures are being taken by the Ukrainian military to strengthen the front edge of defense.

In the Siversk axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Bilohorivka 8 times, where they tried to wedge themselves into the battle order of Ukrainian units.

The situation is tense, defenders of Ukraine are making maximum efforts to prevent the russian invaders from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory.

In the Kramatorsk axis, the aggressor tried 6 times to attack units of the Defense Forces in the districts of Hryhorivka, Klishchiyivka, and Andriyivka.

All attempts were unsuccessful, losses of Ukrainian positions were not allowed.

The enemy intensively attacked the Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk axis.

Here, during the day, sometimes with the support of aviation, using guided aerial bombs, the aggressor carried out 25 assault actions and tried to increase significant fire control efforts along almost the entire front line.

In some areas, the enemy has partial success.

The Defense Forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation and prevent the advance of the enemy.

Previous losses of the aggressor in this axis amount to more than 220 occupiers killed and wounded.

6 armored fighting vehicles, 4 cars and 1 ATGM were destroyed, 1 armored fighting vehicle, 1 cannon and 2 mortars were damaged.

9 combat clashes took place in the Kurakhove axis last day.

The invaders are trying to advance in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Vodiane settlements.

Units of the Defense Forces repel enemy attacks and strengthen the stability of defensive lines.

In the Vremivka axis, the russian occupiers do not stop trying to dislodge the Ukrainian defenders from their occupied positions.

Ukrainian soldiers repelled six attacks of the occupiers in the Staromayorsk area.

One was still ongoing at the end of the day.

There were 3 combat clashes in the Orikhiv axis.

The russian occupiers failed to push the Ukrainian units away from Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovskyi axis, the occupiers are not giving up their attempts to knock out the Defense Forces from their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper.

10 combat clashes did not make any significant changes to the situation in this area.

The Ukrainian military continues to control the situation, no losses of Ukrainian positions have been allowed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 27, the situation remained the hottest in the Pokrovsk, Kupyansk, Kharkiv and Vremivka axes.

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had success in the Kharkiv axis.
