Electricity consumption limits for regions not predicted on Tuesday - Ukrenergo

On Tuesday, May 28, the application of electricity consumption limits for industrial and household consumers in all regions of Ukraine is not predicted.

This was announced by the press service of the Ukrenergo national energy company, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Today, the application of electricity consumption limits for industrial and household consumers in all regions of Ukraine is not predicted. The reason is the exit from the repair of a power unit at one of the nuclear power plants. The spring-summer repair campaign at nuclear power plants to ensure the stable operation of nuclear units during the heating period continues. This can occasionally cause a shortage of electricity in the power system," the message reads.

According to the report, on May 27, Ukraine received surplus electricity from Poland from 01:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.
