Cabinet orders GTS Operator of Ukraine to transfer UAH 5.6 billion of dividends from 2023 profits to state budget

The Cabinet of Ministers has obliged the GTS Operator of Ukraine LLC to transfer dividends of UAH 5.639 billion from the net profit for 2023 to the state budget.

This is stated in the government decree of April 30, No. 470, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The government also established a basic standard for deducting part of net profit for 2023 for the payment of dividends to the state budget in the amount of 50% for the GTS Operator of Ukraine, provided that 30% of net profit is directed to measures taken to avoid the risk of violation of the safety of electricity supply.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers transferred the GTS Operator of Ukraine to the management of the Ministry of Energy.

On August 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law "On optimization of the ownership structure of the gas transmission system operator of Ukraine," which provides for the transfer of corporate rights of the GTS Operator of Ukraine LLC from Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine JSC to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
