Russiahaspulled long-range guided missile systems totheborderwithUkraine, National Security and Defence Council information centre spokesman Andrii Lysenko has told a news briefing.
“The reinforcement [of the Russian troops on the border with Ukraine] is with long-range guided missile systems among other things,” he said.
Moreover, the NSDC says that three tow trucks were observed near the settlement Bezimenne in Donetsk Region, eventually carrying tactical missile launching equipment.
Besides, near the border with Ukraine in Belgorod Region they observe arrival of a huge armoured column, and in Briansk Region – erection of a dedicated radio tower for directing radio reconnaissance.
The NSDC underlines that presence of Russian military in the rebel-held territories has soared severely in the recent days.
Russian military use moral coercion on the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces, setting them ultimatums and forcing them to surrender.
Moreover, frequency of artillery bombardments of the ATO forces’ positions has risen.
They also observe conduct of aerial reconnaissance by the Russian troops in Donetsk Region and Luhansk Region.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Russian servicemen are making radar reconnaissance on the administrative border between the Russia-occupied Crimea and Kherson Region.
