The Petro Poroshenko Bloc Solidarity party has elected Kyiv Mayor, chairman of the UDAR (Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reforms) party Vitali Klitschko, who has jointed it on Friday, as its chairman instead of Yurii Lutsenko.
This decision was made at the second stage of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party's 12th extraordinary congress joint with UDAR.
Congress delegates voted at Lutsenko's proposal for termination of his authority as chairman if the party and its central council, and elected Klitschko to these positions.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Klitschko and 18 other UDAR members have joined Petro Poroshenko Bloc on Friday.
