On March 20, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv in absentia ordered a measure of restraint in the form of detention in custody for former healthcare minister Raisa Bohatyriova, Ukrainian News Agency has learned from the Prosecutor-General's Office (PGO).
Thus the tribunal stratified the PGO motion.
Moreover, it attached USD 100,000 and UAH 300,000 on Bohatyriova's accounts.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the PGO put Bohatyriova on the wanted list in October 2014.
She is suspected of misappropriating over UAH 6 million of budgetary funds.
Bohatyriova was Vice Prime Minister / Healthcare Minister from December 24, 2012 to February 23, 2014.
