Russia's Federal Service for Corrections says that Ukrainian military officer and Member of Parliament Nadiya Savchenko (Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association faction), arrested in Russia, agrees to be fed with chicken broth.
"Today the charged Nadiya Savchenko has agreed to comply with doctors' recommendations to keep the state of her health and agreed for feeding with chicken broth. But she is not refusing to continue the hunger-strike," it said.
Savchenko is still watched by specialist doctors and keeps receiving the necessary maintenance therapy.
He lawyer Mark Feygin wrote on Twitter he was going to Savchenko to verify this.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada calls on Savchenko to stop the hunger-strike.
