Ukraine, Russia and the European Union have signed a protocol on conditions of supplies of Russian natural gas to Ukraine in the period between November 1, 2014 and March 1, 2015.
The ceremonial signature took place in Brussels, Belgium on Thursday night.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak says that the protocol was signed by the Ukrainian and Russian ministers and countersigned by Vice-President of the European Commission, Commissioner for Energy Guenther Oettinger.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company and Russia's gas monopoly Gazprom have signed a supplementary agreement to the current gas contract.
