The Basmanny Court of Moscow (Russia) has extended Ukrainian military officer Nadiya Savchenko's detention in custody till February 13, 2015, Savchenko's defence counsel Mykola Polozov wrote on Twitter.
The lawyer underlines that the court session was held behind closed doors and without presence of the suspect.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Association party, believes in the soonest release with Savchenko and her obtaining status of Member of Parliament.
On July 7, the Novousmanovskyi Court of Voronezh Region took Savchenko into custody till August 31.
The Investigative Committee of Russia brought charges against Savchenko of aiding and abetting the murder of two correspondents with the Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) in Luhansk Region.
