The self-appointed "Donetsk People's Republic" (DPR) announces start of work of a "national bank of the republic," reads a statement made by the DPR press service.
It underlines that on October 6 at a meeting of the "DPR council of minister" they approved principles of operation of the "national bank" and brought into operation the "national bank of the republic."
The statement did not mention the head of the "national bank" or the currency of its operating activities.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the self-appointed "Luhansk People's Republic" alleges that the Ukrainian authorities have intention of sending counterfeit hryvnia and dollar bills to Luhansk Region.
