Poland has resumed supplies of natural gas to Ukraine after an eight-hour pause caused by repair work.
The press service of the Ukrtransgas company, the operator of Ukraine's gas transmission system, announced this to Ukrainian News.
"Supplies from Poland have been restored in full following the repair," the company said.
The repair work, in connection with which gas supplies were suspended, has been completed successfully.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukrtransgas announced the eight-hour suspension of gas supplies from Poland because of a short-term repair work performed by the Polish operator.
Ukraine was notified of the suspension of gas deliveries in advance, and this decision was agreed.
According to the press service of Ukrtransgas, Poland guaranteed supply of the total volume of gas that Ukraine failed to receive because of the short-term repairs.
