(Ukrainian News, Yulia Struk, 08/20/2014) The National Security and Defence Council observes Russia conducting active reconnaissance of the fringe of the Sea of Azov, NSDC information centre spokesman Andrii Lysenko has told a news briefing.
He underlines, on August 19 the State Border Guard Service's Maritime Border Guard put on record a provocation on the part of Russia.
In particular, at 11:30 near the population centre Sedovo they revealed three Mongoose powerboats of the coastal guards of the Frontier Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia moving towards Mariupol.
After a warning on engagement the powerboats returned to Russia's marginal waters.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in July the anti-terror operation leadership once again said they had put on record the facts of supply of arms to militants from Crimea via the Azov seacoast of eastern Ukraine.
