10:17 Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic decided to suspend military operations against the forces of the anti-terrorist operation until June 27, Russian media report.

"In response to a ceasefire from the side of Kyiv, we oblige to ceasefire until June 27. Troop movement within the two republics is also terminated, as well as the fire is ceased - the silence regime is launched," 'Prime Minister of Donetsk people's republic' Alexander Boroday has said in an interview with Russian media.

According to him, in the case of the ceasefire, the parties can shift to negotiations on peaceful settlement of the conflict.

11:40 The International Monetary Fund Mission has arrived in Ukraine for meetings with officials, Ukrainian News Agency has learned from a spokesman for the IMF Kyiv office.

The spokesman says the Mission will be working from June 24 to July 3.

IMF Communications Department Director Gerry Rice confirms, the IMF is ready to work with the new National Bank of Ukraine Governor, Valeria Hontareva.

12:15 The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine states that more than 22,000 people have emigrated from Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions to other regions of the country as at June 23, Ministry of Social Policy Liudmyla Denysova has told a press conference.

In particular, a total of 11,770 people have abandoned Donetsk and Luhansk regions and 10,500 people have left Crimea.

"They moved to other regions across the country," said the minister.

At the same time, Denysova noted that 10% of the number of immigrants addressed the employment centers at the place of their current residence.

A half of the number have already obtained jobs, and the second half was provided with social unemployment assistance.

12:39 The Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company plans to restore the destroyed section of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod pipeline in Poltava region in early July, deputy board chairperson of Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleksandr Todiichuk has told the press.

According to him, Naftogaz of Ukraine is doing its best to restore the damaged pipeline.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs says that the cause of the explosion at the gas pipeline was an external interference.

On June 17, an explosion occurred at a section of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod gas pipeline near the village of Lokhvytsia (Poltava region).

14:28 President Petro Poroshenko takes Russian President Vladimir Putin's letter to the Federation Council, asking to cancel the permission for using the Russian Federation's troops in Ukraine's territory, as the first practical step towards settlement of the crisis in eastern Ukraine, reads a statement made by the presidential press service.

"The President regards Vladimir Putin's address to the Federation Council asking to cancel the March 1 permission for using the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine's territory the first practical step after the Russian President [voiced] official support to Ukraine's peaceful plan of settlement of the situation in Donbas," the statement said.

Poroshenko also addressed Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Turchynov with a proposition to discuss with Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko the possibility of considering this issue at the next meeting of the upper chamber of the Russian parliament.

On Monday Putin has sent a letter to the Federation Council, proposing to cancel the permission for using the Russian Federation's troops in Ukraine's territory.

16:58 The Ministry of Interior Affairs has announced the creation of a unified information database for internally displaced people from eastern Ukraine, Zorian Shkiriak, an adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, has told a news briefing.

According to Shkiriak, this database will provide round-the-clock information about possibilities of temporary accommodation of displaced people in one region of Ukraine or another.

Shkiriak also said that according to information from the State Emergency Service various regions of Ukraine are ready to accept 80,000 refugees from the east.

About 20,000 refugees have been evacuated from eastern Ukraine to Sviatohorsk (Donetsk region).
