AFU destroy 710 occupiers and 15 artillery systems. General Staff reports losses of russians per day
The losses of russia in the war in Ukraine on the morning of Wednesday, April 17, amount to 710 occupiers per day, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 456,050 of the military. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 24 motor vehicles and 18 armored fighting vehicles (AFVs).
It was reported on the Telegram channel of the StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 04/17/24 were approximately:
- personnel - about 456,050 (+ 710) people eliminated;
- tanks - 7,193 (+ 4) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 13,827 (+ 18) units;
- artillery systems - 11,624 (+ 15) units;
- MLRS - 1,046 units;
- air defense equipment - 760 (+ 1) units;
- aircraft - 347 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 9,279 (+ 2) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,093 (+ 1) units;
- ships/boats - 26 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 15,587 (+ 24) units;
- special equipment - 1,910 (+ 2) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, for the day before last, the Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 920 russian invaders, and thus the total losses of the enemy army in personnel since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amounted to about 455,340 soldiers.
