WIG-Ukraine falls after growing for 2 weeks, down 1.9% to 226.77 on March 1-8
In the period of March 1-8, the national WIG-Ukraine index at the Warsaw Stock Exchange decreased by 1.9% or 4.28 points to 226.77 points, falling after a two-week increase.
This is evidenced by the data on the website of the exchange, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
At the beginning of this period, the index was 231.05 points, at the end - 226.77 points.
The shares of Coal Energy showed the largest increase (+4.9%), and Astarta - the largest decline (-3.4%).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the period of February 23 - March 1, the national WIG-Ukraine index at the Warsaw Stock Exchange increased by 1.5% or 3.34 points to 231.05 points, growing for the second week in a row.
