AFU destroy 1,070 invaders and 48 artillery systems. General Staff reports losses of russians per day
Over the last day, the defense forces of Ukraine destroyed more than 1,000 russian invaders. The total losses of the enemy army in personnel since the start of the large-scale invasion reached approximately 419,020 soldiers. In addition, the Ukrainian military inflicted significant losses in russian automobile equipment, destroying 49 units, as well as 48 artillery systems.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on its Telegram channel.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 03/05/24 were approximately:
- personnel - about 419,020 (+ 1,070) people eliminated;
- tanks - 6,657 (+ 9) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 12,688 (+ 28) units;
- artillery systems - 10,258 (+ 48) units;
- MLRS - 1,007 (+ 3) units;
- air defense equipment - 700 (+ 2) units;
- aircraft - 347 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 7,863 (+ 18) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,917 (+ 1) units;
- ships/boats - 25 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 13,423 (+ 49) units;
- special equipment - 1,630 (+ 9) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of Monday, March 4, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out successful operations, during which almost 1,200 russian invaders were eliminated. The total losses of the enemy army in personnel since the start of the large-scale invasion had already numbered more than 417,950 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 42 units of motor vehicles and 22 artillery systems of the russian military.
