AFU destroy 2 aircraft, 1,230 occupiers and 61 drones. General Staff reports losses of russians per day
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine as of the morning of Tuesday, February 20, reached the mark of 1,230 occupiers for a day, while the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion amounted to 404,950 military. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down two enemy aircraft.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 02/20/24 were approximately:
- personnel - about 404,950 (+ 1,230) people eliminated;
- tanks - 6,503 (+ 5) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 12,268 (+ 36) units;
- artillery systems - 9,773 (+ 40) units;
- MLRS - 988 (+ 2) units;
- air defense equipment - 675 (+ 1) units;
- aircraft - 338 (+ 2) units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 7,521 (+ 61) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,902 (+ 3) units;
- ships/boats - 25 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 12,805 (+ 38) units;
- special equipment - 1,551 (+ 6) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at the beginning of the week, February 19, russia's losses in the war in Ukraine reached 1,290 occupiers. The total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion made 403,720 troops. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully carried out the "landing" of an enemy aircraft.
