For the second week in a row, Ferrexpo shares of businessman Zhevaho continue to grow

Quotations of shares of the company Ferrexpo plc (Great Britain), which controls the Poltava and Yeristivskyi Mining and processing plants (both - Horishni Plavni, Poltava Region), continued to grow for the 2nd week in a row and rose by 6.5% from December 18 to 22, or by GBP 0.050 per share, to GBP 0.822 per share.

This is evidenced by data on the London Stock Exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to them, the company's shares were quoted at 0.772 pounds on December 18, the shares rose to 0.786 pounds on December 19, and the shares rose to 0.806 pounds on December 20.

On December 21, quotes rose to GBP 0.809, and on December 22, quotes rose to GBP 0.822.

Since the beginning of the year, the quotations of the company's shares have decreased by 47.7% (compared to the quotation level on December 30, 2022 – GBP 1,572).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, from December 31, 2021, to December 31, 2022, Ferrexpo's share price decreased by 47.5%, or by GBP 1,422, to GBP 1,572 per share.

In the first half of 2023, compared to the same period last year, Ferrexpo plc (Great Britain) reduced its profit by three times, or by USD 55.1 million to USD 27 million, reducing revenue by 2.8 times, or by USD 601.9 million to USD 334 million.

In the 1st half of the year, the company reduced EBITDA (earnings before taxes, interest, and depreciation) by 7.6 times, or by USD 422 million to USD 64 million, reflecting an increase in costs, mainly due to a decrease in production volumes, an increase in global inflation and energy prices.

Capital investments in the 1st half of the year decreased by 43% to USD 58 million.

The majority shareholder of the Ferrexpo group is businessman Konstantin Zhevaho.
