Finance Ministry fulfills state budget borrowing plan for 86.3%, attracting UAH 1,341.4 billion in 10M

In the first ten months of 2023, the Ministry of Finance fulfilled the plan for borrowing from the state budget for 86.3% and attracted UAH 1,341.4 billion.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance, reports Ukrainian News Agency.

UAH 452.0 billion was raised from the placement of domestic government loan bonds to finance the state budget, including UAH 141.5 billion in foreign currency (3,098.3 million dollars and EUR 709.3 million).

At the same time, UAH 207.1 billion was raised due to the issuance of military domestic government loan bonds.

A total of UAH 889.4 billion (or USD 24.3 billion) came from external sources, in particular:

At the same time, payments for repayment of the state debt for the first ten months of 2023 amounted to UAH 383.0 billion (97.5% of the plan), and payments for maintenance – to UAH 187.5 billion (100.0% of the plan).

Funds raised from placements of domestic government loan bonds for the first ten months of 2023 made it possible to fully cover the need for funds necessary to make payments for the repayment of domestic government loan bonds.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Finance, in the first nine months of 2023, fulfilled the plan for borrowing from the state budget by 89% and attracted UAH 1,219.4 billion.
