Occupiers try to regain their positions near Robotyne. 60 combat clashes take place at front during day

During the past day, about 60 combat clashes took place at the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully holding defenses in the east and south, and are continuing assault operations south of Bakhmut and an offensive in the Melitopol axis, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning briefing on October 30.

In the zone of responsibility of the North Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG) in the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, carries out active sabotage activities, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia OSTG in the Kupyansk axis, the enemy carried out assaults in the areas of Synkivka and Ivanivka settlements of the Kharkiv Region, without success. Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks.

In the Lyman axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an attack by russians southeast of Terny, Donetsk Region.

In the Bakhmut axis, the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position near Andriyivka. At the same time, the Defense Forces continue their assault south of Bakhmut, inflict losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment, and entrench themselves at the achieved boundaries.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria OSTG in the Avdiyivka axis, the enemy does not stop trying to surround Avdiyivka, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are firmly holding the defense. The enemy's offensive actions in the areas of Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Opytne, and Pervomayske settlements of the Donetsk Region were unsuccessful, ten attacks were repelled here.

In the Maryinka axis, the occupiers carried out unsuccessful assaults in the Maryinka and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk Region, the Ukrainian army repelled 20 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attack of the russians south of Vuhledar, Donetsk Region.

In the Zaporizhzhia axis, the enemy tried five times to restore the lost position in the Robotyne area of the Zaporizhzhia Region, without success.

"The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol axis, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, exhaust the enemy along the entire front line," the General Staff emphasized.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa OSTG in the Kherson axis, Ukrainian soldiers are conducting a counter-battery fight, striking the rear of the russians.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian aviation has carried out 16 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the occupiers.

Units of the missile forces hit six areas of concentration, a control post, three anti-aircraft missile systems and six artillery pieces of the enemy.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier on October 29, Ukrainian border guards shot down a russian Su-25 Grach attack aircraft on the front line in the Avdiyivka area of the Donetsk Region.

We will remind, on October 28, the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain reported in its intelligence review that near Avdiyivka, the russian army suffered the largest losses since the beginning of the year.
