The “Chervona Kalyna” sanatorium’s team purchased and sent FPV-drones and other aid to the front line

The team at Rivne region’s “Chervona Kalyna” sanatorium purchased and sent FPV-drones and other aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) at the front line, as was reported in a press-release from the health center.

This isn`t the first donation from the sanatorium to the military in 2023. But this time, it was initiated by 85 year old Ganna Zhdan, a well-known master of Fine Arts from Melitopol, who is currently residing in “Chervona Kalyna”.

According to the press-release, Ganna was born in the Ryasnyky village in Goshcha, in the Rivne region. But before the war she lived in Melitopol, and when the city was occupied by the Russian invaders, she left to her home village. In “Chervona Kalyna”, every hour she watches news from the frontline, paying particular attention to how the liberation of the Zaporizhzhia region is progressing. That`s how she came up with the idea to help the military in this area and involve the sanatorium’s team.

“My family and friends constantly worry about the boys and girls who are liberating the land from the Russian invaders. Every day, I hope for Melitopol to be free as soon as possible. Then it will be possible for me to return to my home. I truly appreciate the “Chervona Kalyna” team’s immediate response to my suggestion, uniting in support of the good cause. I hope that this aid will be helpful to the soldiers fighting for the liberation of Melitopol”, said Ganna.

The aid was not random - everything it included was based on requests from the front line. First, the managers of the sanatorium directly contacted the Ukrainian Armed Forces and compiled a list of what they might need. After that, they focused on purchasing FPV-drones, as well as other useful items for the Armed Forces, like tablets, tactical equipment, charging stations, medicine and food.

“This aid for the Melitopol area includes tablets, drones, food and a charging station. Previously, financial help was provided. “Chervona Kalyna” regularly supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine. That has been happening since December 2022, when AREGY GROUP became an investor in the sanatorium. Such assistance to the military from “Chervona Kalyna” will only continue to grow. Our team is incredibly grateful to the Armed Forces because they’re giving us the chance to work”- said Olena Popova, director of the “Chervona Kalyna” sanatorium.

In additional to the military aid, Ganna Zhdan embroidered a traditional Ukrainian tapestry, a “rushnyk”, for the soldiers on the front line. “I made it to serve as a talisman for the soldiers. The “rushnyk” will help and give them blessings for the victory, so that they have the power and health to take back what is ours. I believe this talisman will protect our soldiers from the Russian bullets and shells. I want our Ukraine to be independent, self-reliant and happy”- said Anna.

As of today, all the aid has been delivered to the units which are using UAVs to eliminate the enemies in the Melitopol area.

In December 2022, Rivne region’s “Chervona Kalyna” sanatorium received key new investor - the international bio-innovation medical company AREGY Group. In 2023, the company presented a program for the renovation and development of the facility (“Chervona Kalyna”) as a bio-renovation resort in the Rivne region. The company plans to invest over $20 million in the reconstruction and development of the facility. The development of the resort is expected to create more than 200 job offers, which should generate over UAH 30 million in revenues for the state budget.
