Japan bans export of popular goods to RF
Japan has imposed a ban on the export of cars with an engine displacement of over 1.9 liters, hybrid cars, and tires for large vehicles to the aggressor state of Russia.
The head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, announced this on Telegram on Friday, July 28.
Yermak noted that the goods that are in great demand in Russia fell under the new ban from Japan.
"Japan is introducing a ban on the export to Russia of cars with an engine displacement of more than 1.9 liters, hybrid cars, and tires for large vehicles. Japanese cars are in great demand in the Russian Federation," wrote the head of the Presidential Office.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 24, Yermak announced that since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, the outflow of capital from the aggressor state of Russia reached a record level of USD 253 billion.
On June 21, he announced that the European Union agreed on an 11th package of sanctions against the aggressor state of Russia, which will reduce Russia's ability to produce missiles.
On May 23, Yermak stated that the sanctions were killing the Russian economy and affecting the budget of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation.
On April 6, Yermak announced that Bulgaria had closed the loophole for bypassing sanctions by Russia.
