US President Biden Has Had Skin Cancer Removed - White House
White House physician Kevin O'Connor said that last month, the President of the United States, Joseph Biden, had a cancerous mass removed from the skin of his chest. This is stated in the text of the official statement released by the White House.
"US President Joe Biden's February biopsy confirmed that a skin lesion removed from his chest was basal cell carcinoma - a common form of skin cancer - and all cancerous tissue was successfully removed. Biden will continue dermatological surveillance as part of his ongoing comprehensive healthcare."
However, the White House physician added, the biopsy site has healed and does not require further treatment.
In a letter released by the White House, O'Connor noted that basal cell carcinoma does not have a tendency to spread or metastasize.
