State Budget Targets Fulfilled With Deficit Of UAH 161.1 Billion In 2M
For January-February 2023, the state budget was fulfilled with a deficit of UAH 161.1 billion.
This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the latest data, for February 2023, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 132.2 billion.
Among the payments, the execution of which is controlled by tax and customs authorities, the main revenues were received at the expense of:
- value added tax on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine - UAH 27.1 billion;
- value added tax on goods produced in Ukraine - UAH 15.1 billion (UAH 21.7 billion collected, reimbursed - UAH 6.6 billion);
- personal income tax and military duty - UAH 13.0 billion;
- corporate income tax - UAH 7.4 billion;
- excise tax - UAH 7.0 billion;
- rent payment for subsoil use - UAH 2.7 billion;
- import and export duty - UAH 2.3 billion;
In addition, in February 2023, UAH 51.4 billion went to the general fund of the state budget in the form of international aid (grants).
In February 2023, the income of single social contribution to the Pension Fund and social insurance funds amounted to UAH 36.8 billion.
In general, for January-February 2023, the state budget received UAH 284.0 billion in total, including UAH 236.6 billion to the general fund.
According to the operational data of the State Treasury Service in February-February 2023, cash expenditures of the state budget amounted to UAH 446.6 billion, including the general fund – UAH 410.3 billion, or 86.8% of the schedule for the reporting period.
In January-February 2023, the state budget was implemented with a deficit in the amount of UAH 161.1 billion, including the general fund in the amount of UAH 172.1 billion, against the planned deficit in the amount of UAH 326.1 billion in the schedule of the general fund for January-February 2023.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, for January 2023, the state budget was fulfilled with a deficit of UAH 72.3 billion.
The state budget for 2022 was implemented with a deficit in the amount of UAH 911.1 billion, in December the deficit amounted to UAH 99 billion.
