Another 9 Vessels Departed From Ukrainian Seaports Through "Grain Corridor" - Infrastructure Ministry
As part of the implementation of the "grain initiative", 9 vessels with agricultural products left the seaports of Odesa and Chornomorsk on Thursday.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"On September 15, 11 vessels are scheduled to leave the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Yuzhny. On their board they have 240,000 tons of agricultural products for the countries of Africa, Asia, and Europe. 9 vessels have already left the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk, and 2 bulkers are waiting on favorable weather conditions in the Yuzhny port. Since the departure of the first vessel with Ukrainian food, 3.33 million tons of food have already been exported," the message says.
A total of 145 vessels with agricultural products for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa left Ukrainian ports.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine, taking into account average prices on the world food market, expects to receive at least USD 20 billion from this year's grain exports.
On August 5, the first caravan with Ukrainian grain left the sea ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk.
