Actual Cost Of Gas Sales In August Up 34.4% To USD 1,350.3 Per Thousand Cubic Meters - Economy Ministry

The Ministry of Economy states that the actual cost of gas sales, which is used in calculating the rent, increased by 34.4% in August or USD 345.89 per thousand cubic meters to USD 1,350.33 per thousand cubic meters compared to July (USD 1,004.44 per thousand cubic meters).

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Economy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In hryvnia equivalent, the actual cost of gas sales increased by 54.4% or UAH 17,387.8 per thousand cubic meters to UAH 49,379.31 per thousand cubic meters compared to July (UAH 31,991.51 per thousand cubic meters).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in August, the average customs value of natural gas imported by Ukraine decreased by 0.3% or USD 2.63 per thousand cubic meters to USD 861.95 per thousand cubic meters compared to July (USD 864.58 per thousand cubic meters).
