AFU Advance 50 Kilometers In Kharkiv Region In 3 Days - General Staff
Yesterday, the Ukrainian military repelled the assault of the Russian invaders in the area of seven settlements. Also, within the framework of the counteroffensive in Kharkiv direction, the Armed Forces advanced 50 kilometers in 3 days. This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, it is reported that in the Volyn and Polissia directions, on the territory of Belarus, military exercises have begun, during which it is planned to work out the issue of "liberation of captured territories". The threat of launching missile and air strikes on the territory of Ukraine from Belarus remains.
In the Siversk direction, the intensity of shelling by the enemy has significantly decreased. In other directions, the enemy continued to attack military and civilian objects of Ukraine, namely:
- in the Kharkiv direction, from barrel and jet artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Udy, Sosnivka, Duvanka, Tsupivka, Prudianka, Dementiyivka, Velyki Prohody, Pytomnyk, Ruski Tyshky, Petrivka, Peremoha, Bayrak and Kostiantynivka;
- in the Sloviyansk direction - near Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Sloviyansk and Mykilske;
- in the Kramatorsk direction - in the areas of Bohorodychne, Novomykolayivka, Serebrianka, Siversk, Verkhniokamiyanske, Ivano-Daryivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka and Hryhorivka settlements;
- in the Bakhmut direction - near Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Zaytseve, New York and Vesele;
- in the Avdiyivka direction - near Kamiyanka, Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane and Opytne;
- in the Novopavlivske direction - near Maryinka, Paraskoviyivka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka and Mykilske;
- in the Zaporizhzhia direction - in the areas of the settlements of Novopil, Vremivka, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Chervone, Novoandriivka and Orikhiv;
- in the Pivdennobuzke direction - near Arkhanhelske, Novovoznesenske, Myroliubivka, Novovoskresenske, Bilohirka, Novohryhorivka, Shevchenkove, Liubomyrivka, Ternovi Pody, Stepova Dolyna, Myrne, Olhyne, Oleksandrivka and Tavriyske settlements.
Units of the Defense Forces heroically hold their positions and prevent the enemy from advancing. Our defenders successfully repelled the enemy's offensive near the settlements of Udy, Kostiantynivka, Virnopillia, Ploske, Mayorsk, Bezimenne and Kamianka.
Defense forces are conducting a successful counteroffensive in Kharkiv direction. Thanks to skillful and coordinated actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of the local population, advanced almost 50 km in 3 days. According to intelligence, some enemy units suffered significant losses. The occupiers are trying to evacuate wounded personnel and damaged military equipment to the areas of Vilkhuvatka and Borodoyarske settlements. Personnel of the occupying forces in civilian clothes resort to desertion and try to return to the territory of Russia. So, during the day, more than 15 such cases were noted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated more than 20 settlements in Kharkiv region.
Meanwhile, since September 1, the Ukrainian Armed Forces de-occupied more than 1,000 km of the country's territory.
