State Budget Deficit UAH 416.9 Billion For 8M
For January-August 2022, the state budget was executed with a deficit of UAH 416.9 billion.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to operational data, in August 2022, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 204.6 billion.
Among the payments charged by tax and customs authorities, the main revenues were received from:
- value added tax on goods produced in Ukraine - UAH 16.4 billion (collected UAH 25.9 billion, reimbursed - UAH 9.5 billion);
- value added tax on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine - UAH 26.2 billion;
- personal income tax and military duty - UAH 12.7 billion;
- excise tax - UAH 7.8 billion;
- corporate income tax - UAH 17.4 billion;
- rent fee for subsoil use - UAH 8.2 billion;
- import and export duty - UAH 2.5 billion.
Also in August, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 109.7 billion of international assistance (grants).
The income of a single social contribution to the Pension Fund and social insurance funds in August 2022 amounted to UAH 37.1 billion.
According to operational information for January-August 2022, cash expenditures of the state budget amounted to UAH 1,449.4 billion, including the general fund - UAH 1,360.1 billion, or 81.7% of the schedule of the reporting period.
At the same time, in August, cash expenditures of the state budget were carried out in the amount of UAH 230.9 billion, including the general fund - in the amount of UAH 212.1 billion.
For January-August 2022, the state budget was executed with a deficit of UAH 416.9 billion, including the general fund - in the amount of UAH 418.1 billion against the plan of the general fund for January-August 2022 of a deficit of UAH 864.2 billion.
In August, the actual deficit of the state budget amounted to UAH 5.4 billion, including the general fund - UAH 6.4 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-July of this year, the Ministry of Finance raised UAH 104.1 billion, USD 1069 million dollars and EUR 391 million in the state budget due to the placement of government domestic loan bonds.
