AFU Force Russian Military To Retreat To Disadvantageous Positions In 2 Directions In Kherson Region
The Armed Forces of Ukraine forced the Russian military to retreat to disadvantageous positions in 2 directions in Kherson region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In the Pivdennobuzke direction, in anticipation of the offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy carried out mining on the coast of the Inhulets river.
"The enemy deployed 2 rocket and 2 batteries of cannon artillery in the Mykolaiv direction. It also tried to regain control over its lost positions in the direction of Sukhyi Stavok and Lozove. It suffered significant losses and retreated," the General Staff reports.
In addition, according to the authority, 5 carriers of sea-based cruise missiles of the Kalibr type are in readiness for the use of missile weapons in the Black Sea.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, the invaders want to encircle the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk and are attacking Sviatohirsk.
Three residents of Lazurne (Kherson region) were blown up on the beach on an enemy mine on June 3, all 3 died on the spot.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated more than 20 villages in Kherson region from the side of Dnipropetrovsk region.
