On May 18, the loss of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 200 to 28,500 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 3 tanks, 1 aircraft and 14 drones over the past day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces announced this in a statement posted on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The enemy lost 1 aircraft over the past day (total - 203), 3 tanks (total - 1,254), 20 armored combat vehicles (total - 3,063), 9 artillery systems (total - 595), 2 air defense systems (total - 93), 20 vehicles and tank trucks (total - 2,157), 14 drones (total - 455) and 1 cruise missile (total - 103).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 167 helicopters, 199 rocket artillery units, 43 special equipment units and 13 ships/boats.

`The greatest losses of the enemy over the past day were observed in the Sloviansk, Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia directions.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, on May 17, the loss of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 400 to 28,300 killed, equipment - by 16 tanks and 1 aircraft.
