Russian Troops Personnel Losses On May 17 Up 400 To 28,300 Killed, Equipment By 16 Tanks And 1 Aircraft
On May 17, the personnel losses of the Russian troops increased by 400 to 28,300 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 16 tanks and 1 aircraft.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces announced this in a statement posted on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The enemy lost 1 aircraft per day (total - 202), 16 tanks (total - 1,251), 34 armored personnel carriers (total - 3,043), 8 artillery systems (total - 586), 1 MLRS units (total - 199), 1 air defense system (total - 91), 28 vehicles and fuel tanks (total - 2,137), 5 drones (total - 441) and 5 cruise missiles (total - 102).
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 167 helicopters, 43 units of special equipment and 13 ships/boats.
The greatest losses of the enemy over the past day were observed in the Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia directions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 16, the personnel losses of the Russian troops increased by 200 to 27,900 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 7 tanks, 2 helicopters and 1 aircraft.
