Russians Taking Mariupol Residents To Camp Near Penza – Denisova

 

Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsperson), Liudmyla Denisova, said that the Ukrainians forcibly taken out of Mariupol are in a closed camp in the territory of Penza region of Russia.

She wrote about this on her Facebook page.

According to Denisova, recently she had a talk with the citizens of Russia supporting Ukraine. They said about the camp near Penza, where occupiers are holding residents of Mariupol.

According to the report, over 400 Ukrainians are currently staying in the camp. Mainly they are women.

As earlier reported, at the end of March, ombudsperson Denisova reported that 90,000 citizens of Ukraine had been forcibly taken from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region to the Crimean peninsula.
