European Commission Starts Preparing Conclusion Based On Ukraine's Appeal For Membership Of EU

The European Commission has begun preparing for signing based on an application for Ukraine's membership of the European Union.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

On March 18, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the conclusion of the European Commission on Ukraine's application for membership of the European Union would take place within a few months.

As Ukrainian News Agency reports, on March 11, Zelenskyy announced that the decision of the leaders of the European Union countries to support Ukraine’s European integration now goes to the level of the European Commission.

On February 28, Zelenskyy signed an application for Ukraine's membership of the EU.

On March 1, the European Parliament recommended providing Ukraine with the status of a candidate for EU membership.
