Curfew In Kyiv And Region Introduced From 8 PM On March 21 To 7 AM On March 23

A curfew in Kyiv and the region was introduced from 08:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, until 07:00 a.m. on March 23, it is possible to go out during the air alert period to go to shelter.

Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The curfew in Kyiv and the region will be strengthened again. It will begin today at 08:00 p.m. and will last until 07:00 a.m. on March 23. That is, until the day after tomorrow," the mayor wrote.

Klitschko stressed that shops, pharmacies, filling stations and institutions will not work on March 22.
"Therefore, I ask everyone to stay at home or in shelters - in case of an alarm," the mayor said.

Only vehicles with special permits will be able to move around the city.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, on March 20, Klitschko announced that there had been explosions in Kyiv on the territory of a shopping center in Podilskyi district.
