Energoatom Refuses To Purchase Russian Nuclear Fuel

Kyiv-based Energoatom national nuclear energy generating company has refused to purchase Russian nuclear fuel.

The company has written this on Telegram, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Nuclear fuel suppliers to Ukraine are the Russian company TVEL and American Westinghouse.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, in November 2021, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that Ukraine was provided with the necessary nuclear fuel resource for a year and a half ahead.
