Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 22.3% To 13,562, Number Of Deaths Down 16.4% To 127 On February 20

On February 20, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 13,562 over February 19 to 4,734,333, and the number of deaths increased by 127 over February 19 to 104,645; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 22.3%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 16.4%.

The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of February 21, a total of 4,734,333 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 104,645 deaths; 3,952,363 had recovered.

On February 20, a total of 13,562 new disease cases were recorded, 127 people died, and 13,904 people recovered.

Therefore, as of February 20, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those recovered (13,562 vs 13,904).

At the same time, on February 20, a total of 1,886 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 40.5% over February 19.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 19, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 17,448 over February 17 to 4,720,771, and the number of deaths increased by 152 over February 18 to 104,518; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 43.9%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 41.5%.

On February 18, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 31,125 over February 17 to 4,703,323, and the number of deaths increased by 260 over February 17 to 104,366; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 10.9%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 7.8%.
