Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 29.9% To 1,969, Number Of Deaths Up 14.7% To 86 On January 9

On January 9, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 1,969 over January 8 to 3,704,442, and the number of deaths increased by 86 over January 8 to 97,325; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 29.9%, and the number of new deaths increased by 14.7%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of January 10, a total of 3,704,442 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 97,325 deaths; 3,514,786 had recovered.

On January 9, a total of 1,969 new disease cases were recorded, 86 people died, and 3,517 people recovered.

Therefore, as of January 9, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (1,969 vs 3,517).

At the same time, on January 9, a total of 1,064 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 26.7% over January 8.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,810 over January 7 to 3,702,473, and the number of deaths increased by 75 over January 7 to 97,239; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 12%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 1 case.

On January 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 3,195 over January 6 to 3,699,663, and the number of deaths increased by 76 over January 6 to 97,164; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 44.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased 2.5 times.
