Number Of Coronavirus-Infected People In Kyiv City Up By 1,526 Persons To 81,335 On December 6, Number Of Deaths Up 16 To 1,441 - Klitschko
On December 6, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 1,526 over December 5 to 81,335, and the number of deaths rose by 16 to 1,441.
Kyiv City Mayor / Chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration, Vitali Klitschko, announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
There were 824 women aged 18-92; 610 men aged 18-84; 54 girls aged 1-17; and 38 boys aged 5m-17 among the people infected with the coronavirus on December 6.
Besides, 91 medical workers fell ill.
On December 6, a total of 103 people were hospitalized and the rest are staying in self-isolation.
The largest number of coronavirus cases was registered in Darnytskyi district - 284, in Dniprovskyi district - 272, in Desnianskyi district - 194.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 5, the number of coronavirus-infected people in the city of Kyiv rose by 1,518 over December 4 to 79,809, and the number of deaths rose by 15 to 1,425.
On December 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 8,641 over December 5 to 821,947, and the number of deaths increased by 145 over December 5 to 13,733; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 25.4%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 13.2%.
According to the report, as at the morning of December 7, there were 821,947 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 13,733 lethal cases; besides, 423,704 people had recovered.
On December 6, a total of 8,641 new cases of the disease were recorded, 145 people died, and 5,123 people recovered.
Therefore, as at December 6, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (8,641 vs 5,123).
The number of the active sick (only those sick) as at December 7, made 384,510 people, up 0.88% day over day.
Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (81,335), Kharkiv region (59,393), and Odesa region (51,810).
