Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 4.4% To 15,131, Number Of New Lethal Cases Down 3.3% To 235 On December 3 – NSDC

On December 3, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 15,131 over December 2 to 787,891, and the number of deaths decreased by 235 over December 2 to 13,195; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 4.4%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 3.3%.

The National Security and Defense Council has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as at the morning of December 4, there were 787,891 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 13,195 lethal cases; besides, 397,809 people had recovered.

On December 3, a total of 15,131 new cases of the disease were recorded, 235 people died, and 13,383 people recovered.

Therefore, as at December 3, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (15,131 vs 13,383).

The number of the active sick (only those sick) as at December 4, made 376,887 people, up 0.4% day over day.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (76,750), Kharkiv region (58,030), and Odesa region (49,131).

Besides, Lviv region has registered a total of 48,819 coronavirus infection cases, Dnipropetrovsk region – 42,224; Kyiv region – 41,415 cases, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 38,588, Zaporizhia region – 34,721, Chernivtsi region – 34,710, Rivne region – 32,702, Sumy region - 32,080, Khmelnytskyi region – 31,412, Zhytomyr region – 31,183, Ternopil region – 29,007, and Cherkasy region – 25,492.

A total of 25,465 cases have been registered in Volyn region, 24,595 cases – in Donetsk region, 24,532 cases – in Poltava region, 24,067 cases - in Zakarpattia region, 20,358 cases - in Mykolayiv region, 20,327 cases – in Chernihiv region, 18,271 cases – in Vinnytsia region, 11,398 cases – in Kherson region, 6,726 cases – in Luhansk region, and 5,888 cases – in Kirovohrad region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 2, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 14,496 over December 1 to 772,760, and the number of deaths rose by 243 over December 1 to 12,960; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 10.3%, and the number of new lethal cases increased by 43.8%.

On December 1, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 13,141 over November 30 to 758,264, and the number of deaths rose by 169 over November 30 to 12,717; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 5.1%, and the number of new lethal cases decreased by 23.5%.
