Number Of PCR-Tests Down 9.8% To 25,253, Number Of ELISA Down 2.1 times 3,121 On November 22 – Health Ministry

On November 22, a total of 25,253 polymerase chain reaction tests (PCR) were conducted, down 9.8% over November 21; and the number of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) decreased 2.1 times November 21 to 3,121.

Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since the start of the year, a total of 4,243,600 polymerase chain reaction tests have been conducted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 21, a total of 27,998 polymerase chain reaction tests (PCR) were conducted, down 38.5% over November 20; and the number of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) decreased 4.1 times November 20 to 6,399.

On November 22, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 10,945 over November 21 to 635,689, and the number of deaths rose by 124 over November 21 to 11,075; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 9.4%, and the number of new lethal cases fell by 10.1%.

According to the report, as at the morning of November 23, there were 635,689 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine, the number included 11,075 lethal cases; besides, 291,060 people had recovered.

On November 22, a total of 10,945 new cases of the disease were recorded, 124 people died, and 4,143 people recovered.

Therefore, as at November 22, the indicator of newly-infected people was higher than the number of those, who recovered (10,945 vs 4,143).

The number of the active sick (only those sick) as at November 23, made 333,554 people, up 2.1% day over day.

Since the start of the epidemic, the largest number of coronavirus-infected people has been registered in the city of Kyiv (60,218), Kharkiv region (51,637), and Lviv region (41,279).
