Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Disbanded

The Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church has been liquidated.

This follows from a statement posted in the Holos Ukrainy parliamentary newspaper, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Honorary Patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) Filaret is calling on the Justice Ministry not to cancel registration of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate.
