Ukraine Preparing Similar Actions Over Determination Of Ukrainian Seamen By Russia

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) states that the Ukrainian authorities are preparing similar actions over the detention of the Ukrainian navy sailors by the Russian Federation in the waters near the Kerch Strait.

Head of the SBU Chairperson's Administration, Ihor Huskov, has said this at a briefing, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Therefore, Huskov let understand that in the future, Russian vessels are likely to be detained by Ukrainian authorities in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 25, Russia captured two Ukrainian motorboats and a towboat of the Ukrainian Naval Forces in the waters near the Kerch Strait.

Besides, 24 Ukrainian seamen were taken hostage.

On November 27, a court in the Russia-annexed Crimea started to arrest the sailors for the period of two months.
