Sales Of New Commercial Vehicles Up By 10% To 1,100 Cars In October

In October 2018, sales of new commercial vehicles increased by 10% year over year to 1,105 cars.

The Ukravtoprom association announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Sales of new commercial vehicles last month increased by 10% compared to October last year. In a month, 1,105 new commercial vehicles passed their first registration," the statement reads.

According to the statement, Renault cars used the most demand in this segment of the automotive market, the October sales of these cars in Ukraine amounted to 163 vehicles.

Fiat got the second place in October.

Cars of this brand received 121 registration number last month, which is by 7% more year over year.

With a more than threefold increase from last year, the third place of the rating was taken by the French brand Citroen, which got 103 registrations.

Fourth place and a 40 percent increase got Mercedes-Benz - 91 cars.

In the reporting month, 75 new commercial vehicles of this brand replenished the car park of Ukraine.

In the year to date, 10,500 of new commercial cars have been sold on the Ukrainian market, which is by 13% more year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2017, sales of commercial vehicles increased by 38% to 11,500 vehicles year over year.
