3 Of 5 Major Cryptocurrencies Appreciating On Thursday

Three of five major cryptocurrencies are appreciating on Thursday in terms of their capitalization.

Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from the data provided by the CoinMarketCap.

In particular, in the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has appreciated by 0.98% to USD 9,200, Ethereum - by 5.79% to USD 722 and Bitcoin Cash by 9.81% to USD 1,500.

At the same time, Ripple has cheapened by 0.56% to USD 0.8535, and EOS - by 5.47% to USD 18.

Capitalization of Bitcoin is USD 157.3 billion, Ethereum - USD 71.6 billion, Ripple - USD 33.4 billion, Bitcoin Cash - USD 25.4 billion and EOS - USD 14.7 billion.

The volume of transactions in the last 24 hours has made: Bitcoin - USD 7.9 billion, Ethereum - USD 3 billion, Ripple - USD 0.5 billion, Bitcoin Cash - USD 1.4 billion and EOS - USD 1.8 billion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine, National Commission for Securities and the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets have refused to recognize cryptocurrencies as a payment instrument, cash equivalent or currencies of any value.
