Court Re-Arrests Property Of Avakov's Son

The Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv again seized the real estate of the son of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov Oleksandr, suspected of embezzlement of the state funds during procurement of backpacks by the Interior Ministry for the National Guard.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a representative of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

According to him, the case is the arrest of parking lots in Kyiv, apartments in Kyiv and Kharkiv.

The decision was taken by the court last week.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 19, 2017, the Kyiv Court of Appeal quashed the Solomianskyi District Court's decision to arrest the son of the Minister of the Interior Affairs.
