Poroshenko: Javelin Will Deter Russia's Aggression Against Ukraine

President Petro Poroshenko considers that the Javelin antitank systems will deter the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and thanks the United States for its approval to Javelin supplies to Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the U.S. Department of State has approved the sale of Javelins to Ukraine for USD 47 million.

The United States intends to start Javelin supplies to Ukraine in March.
