Germany Suspecting European Carmakers Of Shady Dealings With Automobiles For Ukraine

The State Fiscal Service (SFS) states that the Republic of Germany suspects some European carmakers of shady dealings with automobiles for Ukraine.

The SFS has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, the prosecutor's office in Halle (Germany) opened a criminal proceeding into forgery of registration documents for automobiles intended for import to Ukraine.

The SFS did not provide more details.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SFS stated that there were 15,000 automobiles that had been illegally brought into Ukraine.
