Average Wage Up 17.4% To UAH 8,800 In December
In December, average wage increased by 17.4% or UAH 1,298 to UAH 8,777 per month.
The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The highest level of wages was registered in Kyiv where the average wage made UAH 14,035 per month.
The lowest wage level was registered in Chernivtsi region (UAH 6,798 per month).
In November, average wage increased by 1.4% or UAH 102 to UAH 7,479 per month.

As at January 1, 2018, arrears on wages decreased by 8.3% against January 1, 2017, to UAH 2,368.396 million.
The largest arrears on wages as at January 1, 2018, were recorded in Donetsk region (UAH 453.421 million), Luhansk region (UAH 556.976 million) and Kharkiv region (UAH 224.542 million).
The data does not include the Russia-occupied Crimea and Sevastopol and a part of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) zone.
As at December 1, 2017, arrears on wages increased by 5.1% against December 1, 2016, to UAH 2,581.699 million.
