SBU Prevents 16, Fails Preventing 8 Terrorist Attacks In 2017
In 2017, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has prevented 16 terrorist attacks but failed to prevent 8 attacks.
Chairperson of the SBU Vasyl Hrytsak told the Ukraine TV-channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Hrytsak forecast that in 2018 Russia would continue attempts at destabilizing Ukraine.
Hrytsak named as the top success of the current year unearthing and detention of Deputy Director of Protocol of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, Stanislav Yezhov suspected of working for Russian secret services.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 20, the SBU detained personal interpreter of Prime Minister Groysman, Stanislav Yezhov, who is believed to have worked for Russian special services.
